Queensland
Chinese Association of Scientists and Engineers Inc is a non-profit
professional association for the advancement of Chinese scientists
and engineers in Queensland.
It is founded by a group of representative scientific and
engineering Chinese professions from universities, educational
institutions, research organizations, high-tech companies, and
governments in Queensland.
The Association was incorporated on 25 July 2002.
:: Objectives of the QCASE
The Association positions themselves for the advancement
of its members in their professions.
The objectives of the Association are:
-- To encourage contributions to the advancement of science and
technology.
-- To advocate exchange and collaboration between Australia and
China in science, technology and education.
-- To foster friendship and collaboration among Australian Chinese
Scientists and Engineers.
-- To promote friendship and cooperation with other national and
international societies.
-- To facilitate members integration into Australian culture and
society.
:: QCASE Memberships
Membership in the Queensland Chinese Association of Scientists
and Engineers is open to any individuals and organisations interested
in and supporting the objectives of the Association. The Association
welcomes not only those who have received high education and developed
and/developing their professions in Sciences, Education, Engineering,
Arts and Business, but also these who are studying towards degrees
and these professions.
Professionals and students in the fields of Arts and and successfully
positioned themselves in Australia. The Association welcomes involvement
of these organisations in the activities of the Association in pursuing
its aims.
The Association also confers honorary members, to recognise their
outstanding contributions to advancement of sciences and technology,
Arts, business, and the society and community.

Background
QCASE members, consisting of many senior scientific and engineering
professions, along with entrepreneurs and students, provide a wide
range of expertise and research and engineering/business experiences
in various fields of science, engineering, education and business.
:: Services of QCASE
QCASE will provide services to its members through regular seminars,
workshops, organizations of exchange activities and visiting to
overseas, business development activities, educational programs,
publications, projects, recognition to outstanding contributions.
All members of the Association are invited to volunteer for work
with established committees and projects, and pursue a new project
in accordance with the objectives and Rules of the Association under
the guideline of the Council of the Association.
